In what has become a challenging time for humanity, one light shines bright : the Montaña Azul brand debutes in US retailer shelves.  Seabra's, TwinCity, SuperFresh and ExtraSupermarkets have a new delicious from Costa Rica: ready to eat cassava. Pahola Arias, project manager for this project has declared that the effort "is a big achivement from both our company and our distributor in the New Jersey State who knows very well the brand since they are latinamericans too and use the product in their daily lives". New Jersey - also refered as the 8th province of Costa Rica - is known to host the biggest population of ticos outside of their country. Counties as Orange, Bound Brook and Trenton are among many of counties who look for costarican and latinamerican specialties, such as this cassava. ¡Compartamos en familia! ¡Let's share with our families!

Our Director’s talks in APEX Mujer : Women in export

Montaña Azul is participates in Chamber of Exporters talks : APEX talks, women's edition.  Gender has a basic role in our global work escenario and Costa Rica has done steps to reduce the gender gap. Pahola Arias is a Director of Montaña Azul who has a legal backgroung as Lawyer majored in Environment studies; also Finances and Project Management certifications.  Through the years in export, Mrs Arias has leaded Product Innovation products, Brand management projects, Major Account Exports, Certification leaded both for organic and food safety systems; among many others. Bio Fach Nuremberg organic show February 13-16 and GulFood Dubai February 17-21

Agroindustrial Montaña Azul is attending the organic trade at the BioFach Show 2019 and the Worldwide GulFood 2019. At the BioFach Nuremberg show in Germany, we will be visiting our potencial clients within the Bio community of the world. 50 000 visitors in a 4 day show, where the word "organic" is more than a label or certification: organic stands for quality and conviction within our organizations– for the responsible use of nature’s resources. Our team has this values and BIOFACH in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg is the meeting point.  In spite of no other costarican organization joining the show this year, we will be present and available to share our ideas and learn about your new projects. Right after Germany, our Director is heading to the GulFood Dubai from 17 to 21, where Costa Rica will be having a stand S141 at the Sector World Food - Trade Center Arena (in front of Sheikh Saeed Halls). LAC Argentina – meetings for business

Montaña Azul in Buenos Aires the 7-8 of November, for meetings to potential clients.   Pahola Arias, coordinator of the Montaña Azul delegation comments "Buenos Aires presents itself as a cosmopolitan city where you can find it all.  The Costa Rican products that we offer, complement very well the local production and we can also learn from their challenges and share our lessons here". For the company's heart of palm, this country is specially important.  Argentinians were once the 3rd in the world importers of Heart of Palm.  Consumption today is relevant also, due to their gourmet preference in terms of flavors and high value dishes. LAC Flavors is one of the most important business wheels of the Food and Beverage industry in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), as it brings together hundreds of exporters from the region with potential importers / buyers around the world, in order to to generate new business opportunities, through participation in one-to-one meetings (B2B). The Fancy Food Show welcomes Montana Azul in New York

The traditional event for gourmet foods and fine flavours take place once again at the Jacob Javitz Center, where Montana Azul will be showcasing the latests developments in flavours and products for the gourmet distributors. New York shelves have welcomed previously Heart of Palm, Cassava and Roasted Coffee. This 2016 the company presents products as Victor and Pamela Arias confirm " We are in expansion : we will be promoting sweet preserved fruits, a new range of tropical recipes that have opportunity in these markets and also promoting our new line of Frozen Tropical products". Both new markets open more possibilities for clients to cater to new consumers. We want also to expand our clients' businesses. The company has been in Fancy Food show for the last 4 years in a row.  

Opa! 3 days at Greece Food Expo

Montana Azul to be the only latinamerican country to be present with Booth at the 3rd edition of Greece Food Expo 2016. This show which is the biggest of Southern European countries displays 900 exhibitors and 30000 visitors in its 3 days as confirmed by Giorgos Bilalis, International Visitors responsable for the Show. Price Smart says : its time for 6 pack Cassava!

2014 : a year that ends with recognition

As the Costa Rica President  handed the Award for the Effort of Exporters, the representatives of the family Montaña Azul walked to the stage to receive it. "Category of Innovation, this award goes to ... Montaña Azul".  This award is granted to companies that made an upstanding work in their field of bringing Costa Rican services or goods to the international markets. This year our President, Victor Arias Jimenez, received the Award and shared some words with the audience "we are a family company, which means for us is difficult to innovate. It takes creativity and hard work". Also invited all the other companies to continue creating and pushing hard for Costa Rica, a country that deserves all our effort. "Costa Rica es un país maravilloso" as he always says. The Award was granted to Montaña Azul after a careful evaluation from the Jury of 5 different Institutions: Promoter of Foreign Trade, Minister of Health, Ministery of Science and Technology, Ministery of Economy and Trade, and the Chamber of Exporters. A great end of the year for  don Víctor, a visionary man who also got the 2014 Award for Agriculture (granted by the Chambers of Agriculture) and the Selection 2014 by Sial to 2 of the companies' products: cassava with spices and Daloö Coffee. No doubt, this success is "made in Costa Rica", by a family with global standards.
