Montana Azul audited by NSF International shows a 9/10 result

 

The facilities of Montana Azul received last 6 of september the team of NSF auditors, in order to evaluate the quality systems on the production plant of Montana Azul and granted a result of 9/10. This exercise took more than 10 hours and was executed in request of one of our global clients, reviewing subjects like HACCP, BPM and many others.

Pahola Arias, Project Manager and leader of certification projects at the company said ” This result shows to our client that we are commited with improving constantly our processes, organizing the best posible our resources in order to satisfy their final consumers. Also our plant is opened to any of our clients who bring always their best team of auditors who have always an excelent impression”.

NSF International was founded in 1944 from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health as the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) to standardize sanitation and food safety requirements.  NSF International is an accredited, third-party certification body that tests and certifies products to verify they meet these public health and safety standards. Products that meet these standards bear the NSF Mark.

Our client, a Global retailer, requested the NSF to audit our plant. NSF operates  serves companies in more than 150 countries worldwide with 1,200-plus staff includes microbiologists, toxicologists, chemists, engineers, environmental and public health professionals.

This positive results are a constant in the company. Our NSF audit result is now in our hands to review point by point of the norms and taken into consideration for the ISO 2200 certification process at the end of this year 2012.
